Cut broccoli into 2-inch pieces. Cut bell pepper into 2-inch cubes.

Heat oil and butter together in a large, shallow skillet.

Add onion, garlic and ginger, and cook together over medium heat for about 4 minutes.

When onions are translucent, Add turmeric, curry powder and Stir cook for 5 minutes. Add 3 cups of water and soup. Mix thoroughly.

Add cut pieces of broccoli and bell pepper. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Stir to mix well.

Add red bell pepper and cook uncovered for 1 minute. Garnish with sprigs of cilantro.
