  • 15 nos green chillies
  • 100 g coriander leaves
  • 30 g Jaggery
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • 50 g garlic
  • 7 g Knorr lime seasoning
  • 2 tbsp sev
  • salt to taste
  • asafoetida to taste

  • 1 Put all the ingredients, except oil and asafoetida in a small mixer.
  • 2 Heat the oil and add the asafetida. Add it to the mixer.
  • 3 Grind till a smooth chutney is obtained.
  • 4 Try using no water or as little as possible to make the chutney for storage.
  • 5 Add water as and when required when using.
  • 6 Store in a clean glass bottle.
  • 7 Note: Sev is a fried Indian snack made of gramflour.
