BAINGAN BHARTA

A dish prepared from mashed Baigan coupled with delicious green peas and Indian spices.

  • 2 Brinjal
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 medium Tomatoes, chopped
  • Salt To taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh coriander
  • 1.5 tbsp Knorr Chef’s Chana masala
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 Roast the brinjals on medium flame till well cooked and the skin is charred completely
  • 2 cool, peel and mash the brinjals.
  • 3 Heat oil in kadhai and sauté chopped onion until golden brown.
  • 4 Add tomatoes salt , chilli powder, Knorr Chef’s Chana Masala Powder and sauté till the masala is cooked and oil separates.
  • 5 Add mashed brinjal and mix well.
  • 6 Cook on low heat and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • 7 Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • 8 Serve hot!
